Bae Suah is about to embark on a U.S. book tour, and two of her stops will be on May 1, 2015, right here in Rochester, NY, as part of our Reading the Wold Conversation Series.

One of South Korea’s most highly acclaimed contemporary novelists, Bae Suah is the author of more than a dozen works, including A Greater Music, Recitation, Nowhere to Be Found, and North Station. Additionally, she has translated Franz Kafka, W. G. Sebald, and others from German to Korean. Join us to hear her read and discuss her career and the Korean literary scene.
