NAJA MARIE AIDT w/ K. E. SEMMEL.

Rock, Paper, Scissors, Naja Marie Aidt’s debut novel, is about a stationery-shop owner whose life falls apart after discovering a secret package in his deceased father’s belongings. Poetic and affecting, this novel has taken the world by storm and now, thanks to Rochester native K. E. Semmel, is finally available in English. Join us for a conversation about emotional honesty in fiction, difficulties of translation, and the transition from writing poetry to writing novels.
